City of York Council has written to nearby residents to advise them of forthcoming resurfacing works on the Heslington end of University Road.
The work is programmed to take approximately 5 days to complete, working during the daytime between 9:15am and 3:30pm. In order to carry out the works safely, the use of a temporary road closure will be necessary.
A diversion route will be set out for traffic.Pedestrian access will be available at all times wherever possible. Cyclists will be required to dismount and use the footways when travelling through the affected areas.
