About Me

Keith Aspden is the Liberal Democrat Councillor for Fulford and Heslington Ward. He was first elected to represent Fulford in 2003 and re-elected in 2007 and 2011. Following boundary changes he was elected to represent the new ward of Fulford and Heslington in 2015 and 2019.

Keith lives locally, on Heath Moor Drive, off Heslington Lane. In May 2013 Keith was elected Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group on City of York Council.

Keith has been a member of Fulford Parish Council for many years. Outside of politics, Keith qualified as a teacher in 2004 and enjoys being involved in a number of community groups in both villages. In his spare time he enjoys playing squash and badminton.
